Request deletion of your SPMMate account and data
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Your account information (email, name, school affiliation)
- All chat history and conversations with the AI tutor
- Your learning progress and study data
- Subject preferences and learning patterns
- Session and authentication data
- Any other personal information associated with your account
Deletion Timeline
Account access: Immediately disabled after confirmation
You will no longer be able to log in
Data deletion: Permanently removed within 30 days
Your personal data will be deleted from active systems
Backups: Removed from backups within 90 days
Your data will be removed from backup systems after this period
Before You Delete
Important:
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- You will lose access to all your chat history and study materials
- If you have an active subscription, you may be charged unless you cancel it first
- Your school administrator will be notified of the account deletion
- You may want to save your study notes or chat history before deletion
How to Request Deletion
Step 1: Send Deletion Request
Email us at support@coregenai.com with:
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request - SPMMate"
- Your registered email address
- Your full name
- Optional: Reason for deletion
Step 2: Identity Verification
We will send a confirmation email to your registered address to verify your identity and ensure the request is legitimate.
Step 3: Account Deactivation
Once confirmed, your account will be immediately deactivated and marked for deletion. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
Alternative: Delete Specific Data Only
If you want to keep your account but delete specific information:
- Delete chat history: You can delete individual conversations directly from the app
- Delete learning progress: Contact support to request deletion of progress data while keeping your account
- Data export: Request a copy of all your data before deletion
